About Us:Lafayette Physical Therapy, Inc. has been an established private practice in the community for 50 years. We provide rehabilitation services for orthopedics, sports, pelvic health, geriatric rehabilitation and more to a diverse clientele. We have grown our wellness services program to include Massage, Pilates Instruction, Personal Training, Balance Classes, Class IV Deep Tissue Laser therapy for pain management and tissue healing. We had to pause our Personal Training and Pilates instruction services after moving locations and are preparing to bring them back.We are looking for a Pilates Instructor to provide individual sessions. We see a wide range of clients differing in age and capability, and are looking for an Instructor with a good understanding of injury prevention and precaution as well as an awareness of the appropriate progression of clients who have been injured in the past. Mentoring available.We have balanced body reformers, spring board, Pilates chair, and other Pilates mat and reformer equipment as well as TRX and other equipment.We are really looking for practitioners that will work well within our amazing team. The right candidate is friendly, professional, organized, reliable, accountable and ethical. Candidate must display the ability of time management within a schedule with minimal supervision. Must be able to work independently and progress fitness programs appropriately. We have a strong team atmosphere that requires an energetic and positive person with a good work ethic, accountability, and reliability.Qualifications:Pilates Certificate (Preferred)Personal Training Certification if candidate does not have Pilates CertificateGood customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentGood communication skills Ability to build and manage a schedule of clients.Ability to be self-directed when necessary while strictly adhering to task priority and relevance.Ability to work successfully within the guidelines of the clinic as well as the rules and regulations applying to the profession and working under a Physical Therapy office.Employment Type: W-2 EmployeeWage Information: Starting hourly wage is $30/hour + Service Bonus for services performed. Once established with regular clientele the average total compensation is typically between $40 and $50/hour. Schedule: Part time with ability to increase to full time based on client demand.
