Job Description:

As the Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, including weekly team scheduling, payroll, managing house protocols and overall space standard while building team success + culture and maintaining quality control of space. You will act as the face of the company and ensure that members feel welcome and that our team’s customer service is top notch. During events, you will act as host, culturally onboarding event guests, speakers, and attendees to our members club.

Key Responsibilities:

- Staff Leadership & Development: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, setting clear individual and team objectives. Provide coaching and performance evaluations to foster professional growth and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

- Member Engagement & Culture: Drive initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and retention by cultivating a high-performance, member-focused culture. Ensure staff are effectively onboarded, engaged, and equipped to exceed growth and retention goals.

- Member Experience & Facility Standards: Maintain excellence in facilities and customer service to meet the organization’s highest standards, ensuring member happiness and retention.

- Strategic Collaboration: Partner directly with the CEO to execute the company's vision and strategic initiatives.

Operational Excellence: Oversee seamless implementation of new business endeavors, ensuring operational effectiveness and efficiency.

- Mission & Community Alignment: Advocate for and embody The Portal's mission, values, and goals while engaging with employees, stakeholders, and the broader community.

- Financial Management: Develop and manage departmental budgets to prioritize strategic goals and ensure revenue growth, maintaining a balanced budget.

- Planning & Innovation: Create and execute an annual operating plan focused on fostering innovation, achieving excellence, and driving membership growth.

- Additional Responsibilities: Fulfill other duties as assigned to support organizational success.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in membership management, operations, or customer service, ideally within the wellness or fitness industry.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

- Proficiency in membership management software and basic computer applications.

- Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to motivate and manage a team.

Annual Salary: $140,000

Benefits: Health insurance, dental, vision; 401k, free usage of biohacking tech remedies subject to availability; sick pay is accrued 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, PTO will start at 10 days in the first year of employment and increase to 14 days in the second year of employment

Start Date & Hours: Start Date: End of December or Early January, Hours: Wednesday through Sunday 12pm-8pm (subject to change based on need & special events)
