Scale AI, Inc. in San Francisco, CA seeks a Software Engineer.
Responsibilities: Responsible for product, systems, and infrastructure engineering to advance Scale’s mission and accelerate the transition for Scale’s clientele from traditional software to AI. Duties include: designing application systems that can integrate with relevant application programming interfaces and services; working with systems engineering to create models that process large volumes of data for applications; assisting with infrastructure engineering to develop new AI infrastructure products to visualize, query, and explore Scale data; building robust machine learning models to automate requests and improve labeler efficiency; and other duties as assigned. Salary range: $135K - $160K. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in San Francisco, California.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 6 months of experience in the job offered or related position; 6 months of experience coding in C, Java, TypeScript, Python, or similar programming languages; 6 months of experience building visualizations and frameworks; 6 months of experience working with client/server architectures and application architectures; and 6 months of experience identifying and resolving engineering metrics and challenges in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
