I need someone to help me build a custom website from scratch. Other than the fact that it’s custom, it isn’t that complicated.
Essentially, it’s an educational website that has the feel of a classic video game (but no actual video game elements).
There are “scenes” that act as a transition from one educational topic to the next. The scenes are just fixed artwork, no animation, kind of like a comic book (all the artwork is being done by another individual).
There are interactive lessons to help teach the material somewhat in the vein of Duolingo (i.e., click the correct box, drag the correct box into the bin, etc.).
There is a roadmap that will serve as the main body of the website and navigation map. Users will need to advance through each level in order to “beat the game” (aka successfully pass the course).
Users will need to be able to track their scores and progress (there will be experience points and badges).
