We are a Bay Area solar company with mission to build quality systems with a priority to benefit consumers hence building the best solar industry possible. Our commercial work has been all over the state of California, but the focus of our sales position is in the Bay Area. In business since 2005 – we have managed some of the largest projects in the Bay. We are interested in hiring a self-starter with both an understanding of financials and construction.
Roles of the sales position would be as follows:
· Lead generation
· Site assessment, both online and at the property
· Understanding property suitability of electrical service and roof orientation for solar
· Solid comprehension of solar cash flow analysis and ability to present to the client honestly
· Ability to estimate and cost jobs properly
· Understanding of contracts and ability to get a signature
Qualifications
· Previous sales experience is a must
· Ability to demonstrate understanding of construction issues, such as framing and electrical
· Ability to work unsupervised
· Ability to interact with clients
· Ability to estimate a project profitability – pay will be integrated into job profitability
· Reliable transportation
· Bachelor’s Degree strongly desired; current students may be considered for a summer position
· Ability to lift 50 pounds and other tasks as assigned

· W2 with a trial period, salary negotiable OR 1099
