The Ideal Candidate should….
-Have a love of food -Be great at multitasking -Be able to work independently and set one’s own agenda
-Have extensive cheese knowledge (Don’t worry, we do not expect you to know all of the cheeses we sell on day 1)
Job Details:
Customer service is the top priority at The World’s Best and we expect every member of our sales team to be courteous, friendly, and always helpful.
Day to day responsibilities include:
-Visiting customers to take weekly orders and conduct tastings
-Assisting with merchandising ideas
-Searching for new accounts
-A typical workweek is Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm and Fridays from 8-4pm. During the Holidays the hours will be extended slightly.
-While training, your first few weeks will be spent in our office in Alameda, CA. Once settled you will typically only spend 1 day a week in the office to gather samples and work on various projects.
