Corporate E-waste Solutions (CEWS) is a certified electronics buyback and recycling Company with a Social Impact Focus. CEWS maintains industry certifications and safety standards to ensure all electronics are managed properly and in an environmentally conscious manner.

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative to support our ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) and electronic waste recycling services. As a certified downstream recycler working with collectors and corporate clients across the United States, we rely on strategic business development to foster long-term partnerships and expand our market presence.

In this in-office role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, scheduling meetings, managing sales pipelines, and helping secure new business. You will play a key role in driving our growth across sectors such as data centers, enterprise IT, school districts, government agencies, and OEM manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities:

Proactively prospect and qualify new sales leads through cold calling, email outreach, and other methods.

Identify high-potential opportunities with companies that generate large volumes of electronic waste or require secure data sanitization and asset recovery solutions.

Schedule and conduct meetings and presentations with prospective clients.

Educate prospects on our downstream recycling capabilities, industry certifications (e.g., R2v3, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001), and secure data destruction services.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales activity records in Salesforce CRM.

Continuously refine lead qualification strategies to optimize pipeline quality.

Manage and nurture a pipeline of qualified prospects across target industries.

Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas and performance benchmarks.

Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality customer service and smooth onboarding.

Build lasting relationships with prospects and convert them into long-term clients.

Contribute to the identification and development of strategic industry targets that support long-term growth.

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Travel as needed for meetings, events, and site visits.

Work on-site at our Hayward, CA office; full-time in-office presence required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (preferably in the recycling, ITAD, or B2B service industries).

Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.

Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and self-driven work ethic.

Willingness and flexibility to travel as required.

Interest in sustainability, electronics lifecycle management, or data security is a plus.

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.

Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
