Praetorian USA is currently seeking passionate, outgoing, dynamic individuals to fill full and part time shifts for an ongoing contract. You must be available for nights and weekends. You must be focused, detail oriented, and hyper aware. You must be comfortable with electronics and computers, using both a personal device to record your patrols and posts, and a computer for reports, and various other administrative duties. You must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
A guard card is required, and we will require you to take additional, medical related courses during your first 30 days.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Job requires prolonged walking and/or standing up to six (6) hours, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a radio and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
1. Maintain high level of customer service at all times.
2. Monitor and authorize member flow entry and/or exit of facility.
4. Check person(s) entering the building for a valid employee or event ID.
6. Continuously patrol all company property.
7. Observe, identify and report events which may include criminal and/or nuisance activity, unsafe or dangerous conditions, fire and life safety hazards and other site related events to manager.
8. Explain and enforce laws, city ordinances, Code of Conduct, and/or regulations to all visitors and/or staff.
9. Complete incident reports and log books daily.
10. Communicate over radio and coordinate other activities.
11. Maintain cleanliness of outside areas at all times, including removing debris and completing opening/closing checklists.
12. Maintain strictest confidentiality.
13. Perform other related work as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current Security Guard Card. Must be 21 years old and pass a criminal background check.
