Location: Music City San Francisco – A vibrant, multi-level hub for live music, artist development, and cultural experiences in the heart of the city.
Position: Security Guard / Door Person
Type: Part-time (evenings & weekends required)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and professional Security Guard to be the first point of contact for guests at Music City San Francisco. As our Door Person, you’ll help create a safe and welcoming environment for music lovers, artists, and tourists from around the world—while ensuring smooth admission and accurate event reporting.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests and check IDs at the door
Process admissions through Eventbrite, including selling tickets at the door. Accurately track all sales at the door.
Monitor entry and exit to ensure safety and crowd control
Uphold venue policies with professionalism and courtesy
Collaborate with staff to manage flow and assist in emergencies as needed
Provide exceptional customer service with a calm and confident presence
Qualifications:
Valid Guard Card, along with completed Responsible Beverage Service course and ability to provide RBS Certificate and proof of completing the related ABC test, are required. No exceptions will be made!
Previous experience in security and door management along with a positive, proactive, customer-service orientation are required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven reliability and ability to stay calm under pressure
Experience with Eventbrite is a big plus
