Are you interested in neuroscience, AI, and new technology? Our team is developing thought-to-text software using non-invasive brain interfaces—and we’re looking for reliable, independent, problem-solving individuals who work well with people to help run our in-person data collection sessions.

You’ll be working with participants in our Oak Street office, helping guide them through research sessions using a headset that translates brain activity into text. You’ll also manage scheduling and ensure sessions run smoothly. You'll be working independently, but with full support and training from our team.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and manage in-person research sessions

- Independently diagnose and solve arising technical issues

- Guide participants and provide instructions

- Manage & verify session bookings, including calling upcoming participants

- Record notes and monitor session quality

- Use our custom software and tools

Requirements:

- Strong communication skills (fluent English)

- Computer-proficient, comfortable inputting basic commands into a command line interface

- Reliable, organized, and professional

- Comfortable working either early mornings or late nights

- Based in the SF Bay Area and able to work on-site

- Experience working with people is a plus

Compensation & Schedule:

$200 per day, between 5 and 7 days a week based on your preference.

Must be willing to work shifts either in early mornings or in late nights.

If this sounds exciting, let us know with your CV/resume and availability, responding to this post or emailing william@condu.it. Important: email subject must be of the form "[Session Operator Application] Firstname Surname"

Provisional application deadline is Wednesday 13 August.

We look forward to hearing from you!
