Visitor Center & Gift Shop Sales Associate

Job Description: As a Visitor Center Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, promoting local businesses, and enriching the experience of visitors to San Francisco. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Greeting and assisting visitors with enthusiasm and warmth, providing information about our products, tours, and local attractions.
Operating the Square POS system with efficiency and accuracy to process transactions and maintain inventory records.
Offering personalized recommendations and insights to enhance the visitor's exploration of San Francisco.
Assisting with administrative tasks, including restocking inventory, organizing displays, and maintaining cleanliness in the visitor center.
Requirements:
Previous experience with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for engaging with people from diverse backgrounds.
Strong knowledge of San Francisco's attractions, landmarks, and cultural offerings.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Charismatic, energetic, and adaptable personality with a genuine passion for supporting local businesses and promoting community engagement.
Ideally located in or around the North Beach Area of San Francisco.
Demonstrated ability to engage with a diverse range of visitors with open-mindedness and patience, ensuring all guests feel welcomed and valued.
