Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Guitar Store Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography, be excellent at playing guitar, and possess experience in warehouse organization and product shipping/packaging. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify / Reverb.com / eBay.com is a plus.
The successful candidate will be adept at creating standardized processes and ensuring efficient operations within the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Photography: Capture high-quality images of products for online listings and marketing materials.
- Guitar Expertise: Demonstrate and play guitars for customers and product demos, providing expert advice and recommendations.
- Shopify Management: Assist with managing the online store, including product listings and order processing.
- Organization: Maintain a well-organized warehouse, ensuring all products are stored neatly and are easily accessible as well as make suggestions to management regarding possible improvements.
- Shipping & Packaging: Efficiently package and ship products to customers, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
- Standardization: Develop and implement standardized processes for various store operations, creating detailed sheets for each task.
- General Upkeep: Assist with the daily upkeep and organization of the store, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
- Assist with special projects: Assist with short term and long term projects as directed by the manager.
Requirements:
- Strong background in photography.
- Excellent guitar playing skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities (MUST).
- Experience in warehouse organization and product shipping/packaging.
- Ability to create standardized task sheets and processes.
- Knowledge of Shopify / eBay / Reverb.com (preferred).
- Reliable transportation.
