We strive to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for both our customers and our team. Our team members are passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to providing outstanding service while maintaining full compliance with state and local regulations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly reliable, motivated, and adaptable Budtender to join our team. This is not just a sales role — it is a dynamic position that requires the ability to wear multiple hats. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates consistent professionalism, and is committed to contributing positively to the overall success of the dispensary. This role combines retail sales, customer education, inventory support, compliance, and day-to-day operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

● Provide exceptional, personalized customer service in a respectful and informative manner.

● Build rapport with customers by actively listening to their needs and offering tailored product recommendations.

● Maintain comprehensive product knowledge, including strains, effects, terpenes, consumption methods, and state-compliant guidelines.

● Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and electronic transactions.

● Assist in daily opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, merchandising, and preparation of the sales floor.

● Support inventory operations, including receiving shipments, restocking shelves, performing product counts, and reporting discrepancies.

● Ensure strict adherence to all local and state cannabis laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.

● Collaborate effectively with team members and management to meet sales goals, solve problems, and improve customer experience.

● Proactively identify needs on the floor and step in to support other team members, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.

● Maintain a dependable schedule and consistently deliver on responsibilities with integrity and accountability.

Qualifications

● Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass all applicable background checks as required by state law.

● Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service; cannabis industry experience strongly preferred.

● Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

● Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

● Highly reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent and professional presence.

● Comfortable multitasking and shifting between roles and responsibilities throughout the day.

● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

● Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform physical tasks as needed.

What We Offer

● A supportive and inclusive team environment that values collaboration, growth, and community engagement.

● Ongoing education and product training to deepen cannabis industry knowledge.

● Opportunities for professional development and internal advancement.

● Competitive pay, employee discounts, and performance-based incentives.

● A chance to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven, community-based dispensary.
