Job Summary:

We're looking for a part-time property management general assistant to support our staff with the various properties we have around the city. This position involves a diverse set of responsibilities, from administrative tasks to property maintenance. Ideal for college students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support:

- Assist with administrative tasks, including phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining records and files.

- Help in preparing and distributing leasing documents, rental agreements, and notices to tenants.

2. Tenant Relations:

- Serve as a point of contact for tenants, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests.

- Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with tenants to promote tenant retention.

3. Property Maintenance:

- Conduct regular property visits and inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure safety compliance.

- Coordinate and schedule repairs, maintenance, and renovations, working with contractors and vendors.

- Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing issues, and general upkeep.

4. Marketing and Leasing Support:

- Assist in marketing vacant properties, including taking photographs and creating listings.

- Show vacant units to prospective tenants and provide information on leasing terms.

5. Other Duties:

- Assist with other property tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

- Currently lives in the city

- Valid and clean driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle (required for property visits)

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Organizational and time management skills

- Proficiency in using computer software and applications

- Physical fitness to perform light maintenance tasks and conduct property inspections

- Basic knowledge of property management practices a plus but not required

This is a part-time job. Hours may vary and can be flexible (no nights or weekends). Please include resume and availability when reaching out.
