Commercial Property Manager Needed - In-Person

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

About the Role:

Seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Manager to oversee all aspects of retail, office, and mixed-use properties. The ideal candidate will have strong construction knowledge, exceptional numerical skills, and extensive experience in commercial property management. The primary goal is to maximize return on investment through tenant satisfaction, high occupancy, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operational management of multiple buildings.

Build and maintain strong tenant relationships through prompt and strategic responses to service requests.

Administer property affairs to benefit tenants and maximize Net Operating Income (NOI).

Collect and manage past due rents efficiently.

Prepare and manage annual operating budgets with a focus on increasing revenues, controlling costs, and maximizing occupancy.

Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service and effective cost containment.

Collaborate with outside leasing brokers to maintain high occupancy rates and competitive rental rates.

Oversee and coordinate construction and capital improvement projects as needed.

Analyze financial statements, operating reports, and construction budgets with a high degree of accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of professional commercial property management experience (residential or facilities managers will not be considered).

In-depth knowledge of construction processes and terminology.

Exceptional numerical and analytical skills; must be “wickedly good” with numbers.

Strong understanding of commercial leases and contracts.

Proficiency in lease administration, tenant expense reconciliations, and budgeting.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).

Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software preferred.
