About Us:

Glen Cove Marina is a bustling private marina with 222 slips, ideally located in Vallejo's Glen Cove neighborhood. Our primary focus is renting slips and providing exceptional customer service to our valued tenants and boaters. We're a small, dynamic, pet and kid-friendly team that prides itself on a collaborative work environment and positive attitudes. We're excited to welcome a dedicated Office Assistant to our team!

Position Overview:

We're looking for a versatile Office Assistant to join us for IMMEDIATE HIRE. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a wide range of projects, including sales, office administration, customer service, report preparation, billing, accounts receivable, and tenant management. If you're self-motivated, a quick thinker, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Proficiently utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel) and Google Drive.

Effectively manage social media platforms.

Be the first point of contact for all visitors and customers, providing exceptional service and assistance.

Assist with various office tasks, including report preparation, billing, and accounts receivable.

Maintain accurate tenant records and efficiently manage inquiries.

Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives.

Engage potential new tenants by conducting tours of the marina and available slips.

Become an expert on Glen Cove Marina, surrounding marinas, and the industry to effectively highlight why we're the best choice for boaters.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, and Google Drive.

Ability to learn new software systems quickly and enthusiastically.

Demonstrated skill in managing various social media platforms.

Enjoy working with the public and serving as the primary point of contact.

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Comfortable taking direction from the Manager and President.

Possess a "can-do" attitude, willing to take on new tasks and go the extra mile for the Marina and our wonderful tenants.

This is a Part-Time position (18-24 hours per week) with set morning hours and flexible weekend hours.
