Small law firm in downtown San Jose seeks administrative assistant to assist attorneys and lead assistant in all functions. Prior legal experience a plus but not necessary. Flexible schedule with at least 30 hours per week.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
Proven experience as an office assistant
Detail-oriented
Sense of urgency, punctual and reliable
Proficiency in typing and internet research
Duties:
Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, office supplies, vender checks, mail
Maintain and update spreadsheets
Open files, conflict checks
Review court dockets and local rules
Court Filings
Simple Correspondence
Prepare/maintain case files and binders
Office support as necessary
