Construction Project Engineer

Waterworks Industries is one of the leading Commercial Pool Builders on the West Coast. We are seeking and have an immediate opening for a Project Engineer. This position requires providing project admin assistance to Project Management & Estimating teams for new construction and renovations of commercial and public swimming pools and aquatic facilities in Northern California.

Required Qualifications:

Fluent in English: reading, writing and speech.

Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Must be professional and polished in appearance and speech.

Ability to manage time and multiple priorities while adapting to changing demands and priorities.

Strong analytical and construction skills in evaluating situations.

Ability to receive, understand and communicate information and ideas clearly.

Ability to interact with GC’s, subs, vendors and suppliers on a daily basis.

Prompt and detail oriented.

Ability to multi-task, take responsibility, and problem solve.

Ability to perform duties with minimal direction and/or oversight.

Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing 25 lbs or more.

Applicant must be trustworthy, organized, and responsible, with a pleasant and positive attitude.

Duties include:

Computer work.

Reviewing plans and specifications.

Generating and tracking RFI’s, Change Orders and Submittals related to each project.

Current OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid training certifications considered a plus but not required.

Computer skills with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Adobe required.

Procore, BIM, Autocad & Blue Beam a plus.

Communication will all parties (Customer, subs, crews & office)
