Job title: Front Office Assistant
We are a busy, high-end custom manufacturing workroom located in the San Francisco Design District. We specialize in producing bespoke soft goods for top interior designers and are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our team.
This is a full-time or Part time, in-person position in a fast-paced and creative environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and play a key role in keeping our front office and team organized.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Answering and directing phone calls
Greeting clients and vendors
Taking and relaying accurate messages
Organizing and maintaining physical and digital filing systems
Managing calendars and meetings
General office support (filing, scanning, supply ordering, etc.)
Light administrative tasks and project support
Requirements:
Strong communication and people skills
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable with both Mac and PC environments (Apple & Dell)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Outlook Calendar, OneDrive
Familiar with Monday.com or similar task management platforms
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Willingness to help wherever needed and be a team player
Ability to lift and move items as needed up to 30lbs.
Bonus experience (not required, but a plus):
QuickBooks or bookkeeping
Social media management
Office or home organization
Interior design or familiarity with the design trade
Schedule:
Business Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am-4pm.
Full-time or Part Time, on-site (this is not a remote role).
Compensation:
Hourly rate based on experience. Benefits offered after a probationary period.
