Central San, a progressive public utility, is seeking an Administrative Services Assistant that will be assigned to the Operations Department, Plant Operations Division and Plant Maintenance Division. Under general supervision, this position provides difficult and complex administrative services and support for assigned work groups and/or manager; performs technical and specialist duties that require a detailed knowledge of the activities and functions of the work group to which assigned; creates processes and procedures to complete assignments; applies policies and procedures independently in a variety of situations; exercises sound judgement including handling sensitive information; and performs related duties as assigned.
Education:
Equivalent to the completion of twelfth (12th) grade. Completion of secretarial, office management or business course work is highly desirable.
Experience:
Five (5) years of full-time experience providing administrative support and public contact duties.
Licenses and Certificates:
Possession of a valid California Driver’s License may be required for some positions.
