We are a long established Oakland subcontractor with projects in the construction industry throughout the greater bay area. We are looking for a friendly multi-tasker with top-notch communication and exceptional organizational skills, a pleasant team player to support all aspects of our business.
This is a long term position for someone who is energetic, friendly, reliable, organized with problem solving skills, has good judgement and a sense of humor.
Hours are Mon – Fri 8:00 to 4:30 with a half hour lunch.
Responsibilities include:
Light Bookkeeping (account receivable, accounts payable, invoicing) using Quick Books Online
General computer work with Excel, Word, internet, etc
Answering phones
Assist with assembling proposals
Maintenance of office supply stock
Administrative assistance with project managers
Management of Insurance certificates
General office filing & organization
Knowledge of the construction industry is a benefit but not required.
Wage $23-26/hr depending on experience plus paid time off, paid holidays and health care stipend.
