Ohlhoff Outpatient Program Intake Coordinator

Ohlhoff Recovery Programs is looking to hire a compassionate and extremely well-organized Intake Coordinator. The ideal candidate is a certified Addiction Counselor (CCAPP or CADTP). You will be the first person that someone will be calling when asking for outpatient services. You understand the window of opportunity when an individual is asking for help. You have the ability to make people feel comfortable, safe and heard. You are the hub, the nerve center, the beating, tender heart.

Specific Responsibilities:

Serve as the initial point of contact for the program. Assess potential clients for the appropriate level of care. Schedule and coordinate intakes. And, perform the intake process.

Answer phone calls, coordinate admits, respond to information requests

Verify insurance benefits

Office management: ensures forms are stocked, inventories supplies and reorders as necessary, keeps spaces neat and tidy

Create daily and monthly census report

Ensure policies and procedures are up to date

Assist Program Director with staff meeting agenda; take and distribute meeting minutes

Act as a liaison between different departments

Other tasks as assigned

Must-Haves:

GED/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Familiarity with Zoom, Google Docs/Drive, Excel

Polished written and verbal communication skills

Sensitivity and emotional intelligence
