Compensation: $25 per hour, part-time, non-exempt

Schedule: Negotiable; maximum of 20 hours a week

BATS Improv, formerly known as Bay Area Theatresports, is a renowned non-profit improvisational theatre company based in San Francisco. ABOUT THE POSITION

Group Sales and Marketing Associate

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Sales and Marketing Associate to create and implement a robust group sales program and serve as a key partner in the implementation of BATS’ social media strategies.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They will be a motivated self-starter with a passion for the entertainment industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for our patrons and group clients.

Primary Responsibilities: Group Sales Associate (75%)

Develop and implement group sales strategies to increase revenue and attendance

Cultivate relationships with local organizations, tourism bureaus, affinity groups, schools, and businesses to drive group bookings

Provide exceptional customer service to all guests and group leaders

Resolve ticketing issues and handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally

Primary Responsibilities: Marketing Associate (25%)

Under the direction of the Head of Marketing, execute BATS’ social media strategy

Administer and manage the BATS website, updating and curating all website content.

Qualifications

Proven track record in group sales or corporate event planning

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency in ticketing software and Microsoft Office suite

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Proactive, organized, disciplined, and able to plan and work independently, able to reprioritize effectively
