Warehouse Inventory Coordinator

As a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator for our Machine Shop, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and inventory systems. You will be responsible for both raw materials and finished goods, which includes overseeing inventory accuracy and keeping a clean and organized warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain inventory management processes to optimize warehouse space and operations.

Execute inventory counts, reconciliation, and audits.

Create purchase orders for all raw materials and sub-contractors as directed by production needs.

Receive in all materials on a timely basis and communicate effectively with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Assembly, Shipping, Finance, and Management) to improve inventory processes and accuracy.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Responsible for document control of confidential and proprietary information.

Knowledge and Skills Needed:

Proven experience in inventory management and warehouse operations, preferably in a Machine Shop or similar manufacturing business.

Working knowledge of ERP systems – ECI/JobBOSS preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and track transactional details.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills – both verbally and in writing.

Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.

Forklift driving experience, and various other conveyance equipment such as pallet jacks and/or tuggers.

A valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record (subject to review)

Ability to adhere to business processes and policies.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 40 lbs on a regular and consistent basis.

Constantly stand or walk throughout the workday.

Able to squat, lift, bend, or stoop consistently.

Exposure to a Machine Shop manufacturing environment, moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, and loud noise levels throughout the workday.
