Raptor Scientific, a global Aerospace & Defense test and measurement company, is seeking is seeking an outgoing full-time motivated individual with effective production experience to join our talented RF Systems team (RFS). In this pivotal role, you will oversee the expediting of jobs and facilitate seamless communication between production and various departments, with emphasis on collaboration with our supply chain team to expedite necessary parts and materials. Additionally, you must continuously monitor production progress, promptly identify any potential delays, and proactively implement corrective measures to ensure timely completion of production jobs. The ideal candidate should be organized, able to communicate clearly and effectively and have a desire for growth within this role. In addition, this position re-quires solid time management, follow-through skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

We are a multifaceted team that develops cutting edge measurement systems in support of the Aerospace and Defense industry and is constantly innovating to produce the next generation systems. Our team is focused on customer needs and providing full spectrum support including engineering, field measurement, software development and manufacturing.

We are conveniently located off 580 and Greenville providing easy access to South Bay and Valley commuters. The full-time hours for this position are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and every other Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Full benefits package available after 90 days.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a direct report to the Manufacturing Manager, ensure efficient and effective completion of production jobs throughout their full lifecycle.

Work in conjunction with purchasing sourcing, planning, and inventory activities to ensure all deadlines are met.

Process material from inventory to production floor in a timely manner to keep jobs on track.

Assist in continuous improvement of the ERP system.

Support inventory control, receiving and incoming inspection.

Ensure compliance to ISO 9001-2008 & AS 9100-2009 standards.

REQUIREMENTS

AS/AA degree or equivalent combination of education & experience is required.

2 -5yrs experience of manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated experience using an ERP/MRP System.

Ability to read and understand technical documentation.

Courses in inventory management are a plus.

Highly proficient with MS office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)

Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.

May be required to remain in a stationary position (stand/sit) for up to 8 hours per day.

Frequently type and use a mouse.

May be required to lift weights up to 25 pounds independently; anything greater requires assistance.

May be required to drive.
