Position Overview:
Machine Operator – Entry Level - 2 – Swing Shift, 4 days M-TH 1:30 PM -12:00 AM
The selected candidate will be responsible for the operation of multiple machining centers, monitors tooling and quality of work throughout the production process. This hands-on position will require an individual who is willing to learn from instruction and training. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to quality, schedules, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Ability to understand verbal direction and tasks
Capable of using a computer and mouse
Has some experience and understanding of hand tools (Wrenches, screw gun etc.)
Fine attention to details
Be comfortable use a microscope to evaluate parts
Can keep work area clean and organized
Verifies part count in production bins
Responsible for the operation of multiple machining centers
Monitors product quality throughout the production process
Works with immediate Supervisor and Quality Assurance to use inspection equipment and procedures required to manufacture products successfully
Use problem solving skills and good judgment to minimize production down time
Education/Experience:
To be successful in this position the candidate should have a high school diploma and demonstrate a mechanical aptitude. Any machining or shop experience would be a plus.
