Mac Cal Co., Inc. located in north San Jose is a contract manufacturing company that has been in business for nearly 60 years.
We currently have an opening for a full time Inventory Receiving Clerk with at least 2 years of experience that is comfortable in a fast-paced sheet metal and contract manufacturing environment.
Position requires employee to receive material in from Receiving and them either onto shelves or into kit boxes, quality control or the shop floor. Check desk daily for new travelers or spreadsheets that require stock checks and setup replenishment orders with purchasing. Pull kit per travelers for upcoming builds. Check bulk stock and reorder as necessary. You are also responsible for maintaining the validity of inventory levels including cycle counts, verify accuracy of transactions, research discrepancies and make adjustments as necessary with approval.
Qualified applicants must have computer experience; Microsoft Excel is a plus, and excellent communication skills. This position will be interfacing with various internal departments including purchasing, quality control, accounting and customer service. Good communication with vendors and internal departments is a must.
Qualified applicant needs to able to make decisions and prioritize quickly with minimal supervision.
Position also requires the use of a pallet jack and hand truck. Position requires lifting of 50lbs or more.
