Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Hand Solder Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on experience in hand soldering within an electronics manufacturing environment. The Hand Solder Technician will be responsible for precise soldering of electronic components on PCB assemblies, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Components are mostly throughhole but may have some SMD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hand soldering of electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect and verify solder joints to ensure compliance with IPC standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair soldering issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hand soldering, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a steady hand for precise soldering work.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under varying workloads.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position with hours from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Hours may vary depending on the company workload, so flexibility is essential.
