Seeking an Electromechanical Technician to join a client in Milpitas. This role will start out as a temporary role, but can turn into a temp-to-hire role based on performance and business needs. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Job Duties:Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.May complete general mechanical assembly of automated equipment.Reads blueprints and schematics to understand the technical requirements of assembly.Follow and use industrial electrical wiring standards.Uses hand tools and power tools to mount, assemble and provide simple fabrication and modification of equipment.Documents configuration changes for incorporation on future assemblies.May perform general tasks including; assembly, cleanup, disassembly and shipment packing, maintenance, etc.Understanding of machine functionality, assembly, and repair.Demonstrates efficiency, accuracy and communicates effectively with others in a team environment.Occasional machine construction facility i.e. wiring/running cable, test power-up, verify functionality of machine.Requirements:Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and experience using hand tools and power toolsUnderstanding of electrical/mechanical devicesExperience with assembly of high precision mechanical systemsPositive attitude and dependability, with the desire to learn and contribute in a team environmentComputer applications proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)AA/Vocational degree/certification in a related field of study and 3+ years of general work experience in a manufacturing environment.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard torace, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
