Position: Seasonal Warehouse Operator
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per Hour
Drake’s Brewing Company is a top 10 Northern California craft brewer. We are looking for a Seasonal Warehouse Operator at Drake’s Brewing Company. Candidates may be offered the opportunity for further employment, but it is not guaranteed.
The Seasonal Warehouse Operator is responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting items in a safe and efficient manner; and is expected to assist the packaging team whenever possible.
Job Responsibilities/Main Functions/Main Tasks:
Inventory: Keep accurate records and reports to ensure inventory control by ensuring FIFO stock rotation and proper organization of product in cold storage, external storage areas and in the warehouse.
Order Picking: Pick, pull, organize orders as needed. Ensure that the correct number and product is loaded and shipped.
Loading: Efficiently load and off-load trucks in a safe manner.
Equipment: Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following SOPs. Operates hand truck, cart, doilies, and forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to other areas of the brewery, or to pick up items for shipment.
Maintenance: Housekeeping duties including all forms of warehouse cleanup.
Receiving/Put-Away: Off-load inbound products safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas. Record amount of product/material received; sort product/materials and stock on racks, shelves or
Packaging: Step in and help the packaging team with the days scheduled runs whenever possible.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1-year prior experience in a similar role
Ability to speak, read, and write with proficiency
Ability to read and comprehend various instructions, short correspondence, and e-mails.
Strong time management and customer service skills
Prior forklift experience a plus
Basic computer skills a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Stands, walks, lifts, and stacks products the majority of shift.
Works in the warehouse with production equipment.
Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 75+ lbs.

Ability to work safely around loud noises, hot environments, wet environments, and other potential hazards
Ability to frequently reach, push, pull with hands and arms. Use hands to touch or maintain grip strength required to adjust valves, containers, hose nozzles, tools, or controls
