Sales Associate/Fragrance Specialist
Ministry of Scent is a popular fragrance business with two stores in San Francisco, one on Fillmore Street and one on Valencia Street, focused on independent and niche perfume brands from around the world. This position is for our Fillmore Street shop, located in the heart of Pacific Heights' most vibrant retail corridor. Our shops have a fun, creative environment with passionate customers and room to grow.
The Fragrance Specialist/Sales Associate position consists of five 4-5-hour shifts per week, Sunday - Thursday. The position starts at $23 per hour.
Retail experience and perfume knowledge is required.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a working knowledge of the inventory and brands represented in the store
Stay up to date on perfume trends and emergent brands
Work directly with customers to find fragrances based on their preferences
Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and assisting with product selection and sales
Ensure that the store is clean, well-organized, and properly merchandised
Follow all store policies, procedures and controls
