Our family owned and operated event equipment rental business is looking for a tech savvy and enthusiastic social media intern to help grow our online presence. This self-motivated go-getter would ideally be available 5 to 10 hours per week mostly remote, would like to occasionally have in person meetings.
Responsibilities
Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
Create a weekly and monthly social media calendar for the year
Create templates for email newsletter and infographics for social media platforms
Perform social media research
Respond to direct messages and comments on social media platforms
Help to create an edit videos for social media
Help to create newsletter template with copy for our audience
Help to create blogs for our website
Develop strategies to create increase and gain new engagement
Make sure brand messaging is consistent across all platforms
Generate captions that are engaging for our audience
Requirements
Must have knowledge of all social media platforms, and how to use them
Must be able to use Google calendars
Must be able to use Canva and have some design experience
Experience with Flow Desk is preferred
Experience with Square Space is preferred
Knowledge of copywriting and SEO strategies is highly beneficial
$18 per hour with 5 to 10 hours per week to start. Depending on experience and results the opportunity for growth may be possible.
