Dental Scheduling Coordinator

Established, successful, local, Private Periodontal practice.

We are a modern, state of the art dental practice providing the most advanced surgical dental treatments, seeking a highly organized, experienced, detail-oriented Dental Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality to meet and greet our amazing patients by name, and be responsible for managing patient scheduling, ensuring the smooth flow of appointments, and providing exceptional customer service both by phone and in person. This role requires excellent communication skills, above average skills with technology, and an advanced knowledge of the basics of Microsoft office and command of the PC - Our Dental Software has support training, and is VERY user friendly.

It is necessary, for successful execution in this position, to the ability to multitask efficiently, and apply a natural given passion for delivering top-notch patient care.

Responsibilities:

Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently using our dental software system, DSN Perio Exec which we provide supportive one on one training by DSN. We are told by all, it is extremely user friendly and has all the best features of Dentrix and Open Dental combined.

Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments and answer any questions they may have regarding scheduling and/or treatment. Coordinate which is why experience is required.

Communicate with Dental providers and teams to optimize scheduling efficiency and patient flow.

Maintain patient records and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.

Data Entry of new patient Health History information, and accurately alert our Doctors and Clinical team for any health risks, allergies, or items that are needed to provide a comfortable and safe experience.

Assist with insurance verification and processing as needed by the two other Business team members.

Provide friendly and professional customer service to patients both in-person and over the phone using our protocol and scripts known as the ' Five Star Call " experience.

Welcome between 7-18 patients with a warm smile, and by name based on there arrival time.

Examine and forecast, our schedule weeks in advance using your experience and expertise to optimize flow, collection and a variety of needs for our two Periodontists.

Familiar with the interworking's of a PBX Phone, headsets, and commanding and executing call transfers, short away messages, and voicemail. Training by our phone system provided.

Execute and audit for accuracy, our Daily Deposits with our Business Lead/Treatment Coordinator using our in house check scanner, high speed desktop scanners and team work to cross check.

Smile and INSPIRE If we have earned a RAVING FAN, engage in asking them to review us either by written or VIDEO Review, with our available one touch system.

Collaborate with the dental team to address any scheduling concerns, preparation for large full arch cases, and ensure we avoid any missed opportunities, supply chain or conflict of our Doctor's schedules.

Requirements: We need your SPEED, and Technology fitness!

Positive, Happy, Outgoing attitude to for the first face of embrace, of our outstanding, over the top, five star new patient experience.

Previous experience in a dental office or medical setting preferred.

Elegant, articulate, proper use of the English language both written and verbal.

Proficiency with dental scheduling software (e.g., Dentrix, DSN Perio Exec, MS Office ) is a necessary.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a huge plus.

X-ray licensure helpful, and if you do not have it we will HOST this on your behalf.

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in dental assisting or office management is a bonus.
