We are a boutique law firm focused on consumer protection and mortgage-related litigation, seeking a temporary law clerk to support our practice. This is a hands-on opportunity for a recent law graduate awaiting results from the July 2025 California Bar Exam.
About the Role:
As a law clerk, you will assist with legal research, drafting, and litigation support in complex cases involving wrongful foreclosure, predatory lending, mortgage servicing abuses, along with other general real property matters. The work is meaningful, fast-paced, and client-centered.
Responsibilities:
Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and motions
Conduct legal research on consumer protection statutes, regulations, and case law
Assist with discovery review, trial preparation, and case strategy
Attend hearings and client meetings when appropriate
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Strong research and writing skills
Interest in consumer protection, civil litigation, or housing law
Eligible to sit for the California Bar or awaiting results
Potential for Advancement:
This is a temporary position, but there is strong potential for a permanent associate role contingent on Bar passage and demonstrated excellence in the role.
