Shipping and Operations Assistant

We’re pioneering next-generation plant-based composites, offering a superior alternative to traditional materials like plastics and wood. Lingrove is looking for an energetic, resourceful, and detail-oriented Shipping Management and Operations Assistant to manage our orders and shipping systems.

You will interact with our sales, engineering, product, and finance teams to ensure that orders are shipped out in a timely manner, data is captured, customers and sales are notified and things run smoothly. The ideal candidate has two years of experience in a highly detailed-oriented job and is excited to support a growing business to manage and ensure quality in shipping and orders. Lingrove is not looking for pedigree, instead, we seek a friendly, committed person to join and collaborate with our small team with big dreams. They love crossing things off the list by making things happen. This includes getting the details right.

Responsibilities

- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and equipment use.

- Develop and enforce warehouse policies for efficiency and safety.

- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits for accuracy.

- Coordinate with departments for timely and accurate order fulfillment.

- Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and security standards.

- Analyze warehouse performance reports and implement improvements.

- Pack, quote, ship orders, and troubleshoot sales orders.

- Manage communication with sales, process customer orders, and optimize order management.

- Prepare and update sales orders and reports daily.

- Resolve order issues and customer inquiries.

- Collaborate with finance on purchase orders.

Requirements and Preferred Experiences

- 2+ years experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

- Great energy and desire to collaborate with team; friendly and easy to work with

- Drive and passion to take on the challenge of growing an early-stage company

- Knowledge of materials/manufacturing related to construction, auto, and/or composites is helpful but not required

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

- Forklift driving certification

About the Role

- You will be working onsite from our San Rafael,CA office. Core hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Compensation:

- The base salary range for this role is $55,000 - 60,000 annually, which is just one aspect of our total compensation package. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
