Property Maintenance Technician for Large Scale Residential Community
Looking for someone experienced in general building and facility maintenance; performing repairs and general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, pool equipment, doors, locks, windows, lights, sheetrock repairs and painting. HVAC experience highly desired.
Responsibilities:
Physically inspect the Property on a regular basis - report and address maintneance and safety needs promptly
Inventory supplies and materials. Prepare orders for supplies for the Property
Manage repairs, track work orders and service details
Troubleshoot needs for the property/project
Adhere to all directives including but not limited to property inspections, maintenance assignments, safety, and special maintenance items
Maintain, organize and store all company property including tools, equipment, and vehicles
Arrive on time, clean & presentable and with a good attitude
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision, manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines on a routine basis
Well-organized, problem-solving and attention to details
Must have the ability to communicate clearly with management team
Qualifications:
GED or High School diploma or equivalency
Requires experience in building trades, painting (interior and exterior), repair and replacement maintenance or handy work
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
Ability to use email
Must be able to pass a drug test
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures
Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
Crawl in small and tight spaces
Work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain)
Walk and climb stairs and ladders, handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment; Reach with hands and arms;Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word
Ability to navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions
Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers
Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms
