Job Description:
As a Vehicle Insurance Inspector with San Francisco Appraisers, you will play a crucial role in inspecting vehicles involved in collision claims. This flexible, on-call position requires you to travel to various locations within the Santa Rosa, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, and Morgan Hill areas using your own vehicle. While the inspection itself typically takes 10 minutes, the drive to the assignment varies depending on its location. You'll be responsible for photographing vehicles, gathering essential information, and completing the necessary documentation to facilitate insurance claims. We offer flexible hours and can work around your provided availability, making this position perfect for those looking to earn extra income on a per-assignment basis. You can also choose to work in just one of the locations listed—you do not have to be available for all areas.
Responsibilities:
Drive to various locations in your selected area (Santa Rosa, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, or Morgan Hill) to conduct vehicle inspections.
Capture detailed photographs of vehicles to document damages.
Obtain relevant information from repair shops and vehicle owners.
Complete claim documentation accurately and efficiently.
Ensure timely communication with team members and clients.
Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable personal vehicle, gas, and insurance.
Ability to use a personal cell phone for photography and email purposes.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Flexibility to work on an on-call basis.
No prior experience needed.
Compensation & Additional Information:
This is a 1099 contractor position.
You will be responsible for your own car, gas, insurance, and other related expenses.
