We are looking for a caregiver for my Mom who lives with us one weekday (flexible on day) and Saturday for my Mom 8-2 p.m in the Outer Richmond, San Francisco. Once you are trained my husband and I would like to take a 6 day and caregiver will work 6 -24 hour shifts.
My Mom had a Double Brain Aneurysm when she was 56 and she is now 68
She is using a cane for walking and I hold her arm for gait support. (she was 5+ years wheelchair bound and non-verbal for 3. 7 years).
The caregiver will help with meal prep, showering, toileting, daily walks outside (1-2 miles), stretching, and playing cards/games. She is super young (68), smart and has a great sense of humor.
We are also looking for someone who has minimum one year experience, dependable, and fun in helping my mom recover from her stroke.
Must have covid vaccine, flu shot, and have car. Caregiver cannot have young kids. Females only.
FEMALES ONLY. Must live in SF or Peninsula.
We are looking for a commitment of at least one year since I put a lot of time into training the caregiver.
This is a great opportunity for someone in nursing, LVN, CNA, physical therapy, or occupational therapy school.
