Physical Therapy Aide (Santa Cruz)

We are looking for a friendly, mature, exceptional PT Aide to assist our physical therapists' and patients' needs. Within the walls of SOL Santa Cruz Physical Therapy lies something different. Our dynamic, fast-paced clinic seeks an experienced, detail oriented PT Aide who can help to ensure high customer satisfaction. The position requires the ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and implement procedures that facilitate efficiency. Time management skills are mandatory. This is an exceptional opportunity for growth in a collaborative, supportive and innovative setting. An ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of front and back office functions and HIPPA and OSHA compliance. Experience in functional exercise training is preferred. This is a PART-TIME position.

Responsibilities include:

PT Aide: Aides guide patients during exercises, apply modalities under the direction and supervision of a licensed staff physical therapist, and assist with maintaining the facility. An aide will be responsible for ordering, tidying the clinic, taking inventory of necessary equipment for the facility, and stocking treatment stations. When working with patients, the trainers must follow the guidelines for Physical Therapy Aides as described by the APTA.

Excellent communication and customer service skills are expected in order to address patients' concerns. Other tasks may include scheduling and collecting payments. Customer service skills are required for answering phones and dealing with patients' concerns.

Skills and Qualifications:

Four Year College Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise and Sport Science, or health-related field preferred.

Proficient use of: MS office products.

Hours:

Monday, Wednesday

8:30-5:30

Friday

8:30-12:30
