Job Overview
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented ONSITE Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our Sleep Clinic in Sunnyvale, CA. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. Telemedora is an online sleep clinic. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, tech-savvy with good organizational and time management skills. Candidate will assist in patient care, administrative and clinical tasks.
Responsibilities
Assist in patient check-in.
Chart preparation.
Educate patients on sleep study.
Schedule appointments.
Process insurance verification and prior authorization
Handle phone calls from patient, potential patients and clinics.
Care coordination with referring offices, DME, etc.
Maintain inventory of medical supplies, equipment and activating sleep study kits.
Qualifications
Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program
High School or equivalent.
HIPAA certified.
US citizen
Clean background.
Must have at least 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant.
Must have experience with virtual care.
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of EMR systems and ability to learn new software quickly.
Previous experience in a sleep clinic, pulmonology, or neurology practice is a plus.
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
Proficient in Microsoft.
Work Schedule
Part-time position (approximately 15-20 hours per week).
Days: M-F. 1 PM- 5 PM Pacific
