We are looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our team. We are offering part-time position at the office of Dr. Lisa and Tom Halliday. We are a privately-owned dental practice located in Sonoma, CA. Our office hours are Monday -Thursday from 8:30 am-5:30 pm with Fridays off.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Maintain dental equipment and instruments, ensuring they are properly sterilized and in good working condition
Requirements:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in California
- Knowledge of terminology related to dental procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, preferably Dentrix (we will train if not)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Ability to work well within a team environment
We offer competitive compensation based on experience. We are looking for a Part-time hygienist to work on Wednesday's from 8:30 am-5:00 pm. Hours are flexible.
