Job Title: Corrective Exercise Specialist/Physical Therapy Assistant

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Corrective Exercise Specialist/Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall rehabilitation/fitness experience for our clients.
The position is not meant to be stand-alone employment. Expect initially 4-10 hours of weekly work.
Responsibilities:
1. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' physical limitations, imbalances, and movement dysfunctions.
2. Developing Treatment/Fitness Plans: Create individualized corrective exercise/fitness programs based on assessment findings and treatment goals.
3. Implementing Programs: Guide clients through prescribed exercises and interventions, ensuring proper form, technique, and safety.
4. Monitoring Progress: Regularly assess and document clients' progress, adjusting exercise programs as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
5. Educational Support: Educate clients on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and self-management techniques to empower them in their rehabilitation journey.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with referring Physicians and other Health Care Professionals to provide comprehensive care and support interdisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications:
1. Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance or related field.
2. Certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) is required, experience
working with the 60plus population is a plus.
3. State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
4. Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
7. Valid CA Drivers License
8. Valid CPR/AED Certification
