About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator to lead the daily operations of a licensed Adult Residential Facility serving six adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in San Jose. The Administrator will ensure the highest standards of care, regulatory compliance, and staff leadership in a supportive, person-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of facility operations in compliance with California Title 17 and Title 22 regulations.
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of residents through individualized service planning and oversight of care delivery.
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate facility staff to maintain a high-quality, compassionate team.
Maintain all required records, documentation, and reports for licensing and regulatory agencies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, families, regional centers, and regulatory bodies.
Develop and implement policies and procedures, including emergency preparedness and infection control.
Oversee medication administration, healthcare appointments, and coordination with medical professionals.
Monitor facility budgets, expenditures, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
Respond to emergencies and be available on-call 24/7 for urgent facility needs.
Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications
Must meet California Title 17 and Title 22 Administrator requirements, including:
Minimum age 21
High school diploma or GED (higher education preferred)
Valid Adult Residential Facility Administrator Certificate (current and in good standing)
Required experience in residential care for individuals with developmental disabilities
Completion of required HIV/TB training and all mandated continuing education
Strong knowledge of California Community Care Licensing regulations
Experience supervising staff and managing facility operations
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
