Child Welfare Data System Migration Project Manager - County of Sonoma

Starting salary up to $59.85/hour ($124,914/year) plus a competitive total compensation package!

This Child Welfare Data System Migration Project Manager will be responsible for leading the Division’s transition to the new Child Welfare Services – California Automated Response and Engagement System (CWS-CARES) case management system, including coordinating and leading the transition of over 200 end users. They will also act as an HSD representative at regional and statewide committees, providing feedback on policy and/or system changes that will impact Division personnel and other stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include:

Understanding the impact of system and business process changes due to migration to CWS-CARES, and communicating it to all impacted users

Coordinating and working with teams of staff and subject matter experts to develop and document new business processes

Supporting the implementation of system and business process changes and drafting policies and procedures

Facilitating discussions with program staff to identify areas needing system improvements and communicating those needs to Child Welfare Digital Services (CWDS) program development teams

Overseeing and providing training on the new case management system and related business processes

Acting as a resource for questions about complex system problems and providing tools to assist staff

Creating and maintaining a communication plan to ensure CWS-CARES updates are provided to all Division staff, HSD leadership, community partners, and other stakeholders
