Line Cook / Dishwasher (Full-Time)
Location: Taco Primo – Fillmore Street (with occasional shifts at Thrive City, Chase Center)
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a full-time Line Cook / Dishwasher (4–5 shifts per week). This hybrid role is an essential part of our fast-paced taqueria, where you’ll rotate between cooking on the line and dishwashing, depending on the needs of the shift. The right candidate will be flexible, team-oriented, and thrive in a high-energy kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Line Cook Duties (as assigned):
- Prepare and cook menu items with accuracy, speed, and consistency
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the line and prep areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist with prep work and support the kitchen team as needed
- Communicate clearly with front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Uphold portion control and quality standards
Dishwasher Duties (as assigned):
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment
- Keep the dish area clean, organized, and safe
- Take out trash and recycling as needed
- Assist with cleaning floors, surfaces, and restocking supplies
- Help with light prep or kitchen tasks when dish volume is low

Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand for the full duration of a shift
- Frequent reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, and wiping
- Comfortable remaining stationary for extended periods
- Regular handwashing and sanitizing required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity for cutting, measuring, pouring, serving, carrying, and cleaning
- Clear hearing and communication abilities
- Good close and distance vision with the ability to adjust focus
