Join Sushi Shio located on Valencia St. San Francisco as a skilled Sushi Chef. We're looking for a full-time sushi chef.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare various sushi dishes (mostly nigiri, sashimi, and maki)
- Ensure quality and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of sushi bar
- Manage inventory and supplies
- Follow food safety guidelines
- Collaborate on new menu items
- Work full-time lunch and dinner shifts, 5-6 days a week including weekends
- Wash/prep fish.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef 23 years.
- Skilled in handling sushi knives and equipment
- Knowledgeable in sushi-rolling techniques
- Detail-oriented with high standards
- Efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
