Standard Fare is hiring a cook to join our daytime team!

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, cook who will enjoy adding creative input, focus, detail, and organization to our daily fare. Delicious food, quickly, beautifully presented, and graciously served is a daily goal. Our menu changes weekly and celebrates the season and our community. You are:

o Experienced: Have at least 2 years restaurant experience

o Passionate: Have a deep love of food and local produce

o Thoughtful: Care about contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

o Growth oriented: Interested in joining a team that values on-going learning, a genuine interest in sharing ideas, a willingness to lead, and, to learn from others

The schedule is 5 shifts a week hours are : Tuesday – Friday 6:45 am to 3:15 pm; Saturday8-4. Salary is hourly, $20+ (dependent on experience) + $10 an hour tips = $30+ an hour. All tips are shared equally with the whole house. Full-time workers receive a health care stipend after three months and everyone can have 2 acupuncture appointments a month as desired.

Our customers come, not only for a delicious meal, but also for the dedicated, friendly service and the inviting culinary experience we showcase in our open kitchen
