Launch Pad Coffee & Ice Cream CAFE, opening late September 2024, will be located in the concourse level of the prominent 555 California building in downtown SF. The newest concept from Hi Neighbor Hospitality Group, Launch Pad will deliver meticulously crafted coffee and espresso drinks, breakfast items, fresh made pastries and locally hand-crafted ice cream to customers. We aim to focus on Quality, Consistency, Efficiency, and Customer Service.

At Launch Pad, you will serve LAMILL coffee, tea and espresso blends, an award-winning specialty coffee roaster headquartered in Los Angeles, and rotating local ice cream producers, including our very own Jack & Remi Ice Cream.

We are seeking baristas who have a strong work ethic and experience in coffee. You will also become part of a growing team with potential for advancement. The Café will be open Monday thru Friday, 6am-6pm, Shifts can vary but you MUST BE ABLE TO WORK MORNING 5:30AM SHIFTS. Pay rates are $21-24 an hour (based on experience and shift responsibilities) + tips. Medical and Dental Benefits available as well.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate and work as a team to provide consistent customer service in a dynamic, busy environment

Actively participate in your continued education of our products and your training

Craft and serve exceptional food and beverage product

Follow all company policies, procedures, and steps of service and share ideas to make it better

Be diligent and take pride in daily operational tasks of opening and closing duties, engaging with guests, cleaning (trash removal, sweeping/mopping, dusting/cleaning surfaces), re-stocking, preparing drinks, cash handling, and food prep

Qualifications:

Experience with coffee, customer service and working in a customer-focused environment

Must be polite, professional and engaging with a passion for hospitality

Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with management, coworkes and guests

Excellent hygiene and grooming are requirements for this position, must also maintain a neat appearance

Must be able to stand for periods of up to four (4) hours in length. Must be able to reach, bend, kneel and frequently lift up to fifty (25) pounds.

Must have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card and Sexual Harassment Training.
