Seasonal Private Chef:
Private Sporting Club & Ranch (Near Pittsburg/Fairfield, CA)
We are hiring a seasonal, part-time Private Chef for a private hunting and recreational club located on a remote island in the Suisun Marsh. The club operates during the duck hunting season, with members visiting 3–4 days per week. This is an ideal opportunity for a chef who enjoys cooking hearty, high-quality meals in a unique remote setting.
Position Details:
Seasonal Role: October 15, 2025 – February 15, 2026 -
Pay: $500 per shift (typically 2 shifts per week) - Tuesday/Wednesday & Friday/Saturday = Arrive at 3pm and return around Noon the following day: Transportation Available
Meals include appetizers/dinner, breakfast and light lunch the following day
Kitchen facilities provided
Overnight lodging available during shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare high-quality meals for club members and guests
Coordinate with caretaker or club representative on meal timing and headcount
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Ensure food safety and proper storage
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced cook or chef comfortable with rustic or family-style meals
Can work independently and plan multi-course meals
Friendly, reliable, and professional
