We are seeking an experienced front-of-house restaurant manager for a dynamic, full-time or part-time position at Station House Cafe in Point Reyes Station (West Marin).

Responsibilities

Front-of-house scheduling and labor management

Event management: Coordinate with guests for semi-private, single-room and/or facility buy-out events

Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders

Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up

Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed

Ensure staff provides fast, friendly, and accurate service; assist as needed

Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and security standards are met

Assist with assorted administrative tasks as assigned

Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed

Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers

Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture

Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant

Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize

This is preferably a full-time position but we will consider accommodating a 4 day/week schedule. Full-time position includes Kaiser medical insurance, 401(k) with 4% employer matching funds and one week paid vacation. All positions - f/t or p/t - include free access to a company-sponsored telehealth program. Some benefits have specific waiting times for eligibility according to individual benefit plans and regulations. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience. Prior management experience is necessary, with significant front-of-house restaurant experience and excellent references. Primarily this is a floor/service management position with additional administrative duties as assigned.
